The set includes a concave rubber seal in 2″ size and the corresponding PVC fitting intended for connecting the PTK filter vessel. The concave shape of the seal ensures an even distribution of the tightening forces and eliminates the risk of water leakage even at higher operating pressure.
The materials are selected with a view to permanent contact with chlorinated or salt pool water – the seal is made of EPDM and the fitting of rigid PVC. The set is dimensioned for standard 2″ PTK filtration connections and guarantees a precise fit without the need for adjustments.
Replacing a worn seal is quick and inexpensive; postponing the repair, on the other hand, leads to leaks, pressure losses and damage to the surrounding pipework.
