The lid seal is a rubber component located on the contact surface between the lid and the body of the six-way valve of the TOP VF filter vessel. With ageing or chemical stress, the seal deforms and loses its elasticity, leading to water leakage or a drop in filtration pressure.
The replacement seal is made of EPDM rubber resistant to chlorine, ozone and salt water. Installation requires no tools – simply remove the valve lid, replace the seal and tighten it back on.
Regular inspection of the seal during seasonal filter servicing and its timely replacement extends the service life of the entire six-way valve and eliminates water losses from the filtration system.
