The reduced 90° PVC tee d25×20×25 is a fitting intended for chemically resistant PVC-U distribution systems where a branch with a narrowed cross-section of 20 mm needs to be taken off the main pipe of 25 mm diameter.
The reduction of the central socket to d20 allows the direct connection of smaller fittings or measuring probes without the need for an additional reducer in the pipe run.
The PVC-U material resists chlorine, acids and alkalis used in water treatment and is suitable for both drinking and pool water distribution with a PN 16 working pressure.
The joint is made by solvent welding with PVC adhesive and the corresponding primer; before bonding, the bonding surfaces must be chamfered and degreased to achieve a watertight joint.
