The top lid of the MFS filter tank is made of transparent, chemically resistant polymer, which gives the customer an instant visual overview of the state of the filter medium without opening the tank. Thanks to the transparent material, it is immediately visible whether the filter sand or glass medium needs replacing or backwashing.
The lid is fitted with a precisely shaped sealing groove for an O-ring, which guarantees complete watertightness even at operating pressure. The material resists UV radiation, chlorine and water-treatment products.
Replacement of the lid is advisable in the event of cracking, clouding or thread damage to the original part. Compatibility: MFS series filter tanks.
