The PVC-U union combining a glued socket of 20 mm diameter and a 1/2″ BSP female thread serves as a transition element between PVC piping and threaded fittings or metal fittings. The part is part of the PN16 pressure class and is suitable for pool as well as industrial water systems.
The 1/2″ female thread allows direct connection to ball valves, pressure gauges, bleed valves or other threaded elements without the need for an additional adapter. The glue socket is paired with standard d20 PVC piping using PVC adhesive.
The PVC-U material is certified for contact with drinking water and resists chlorinated pool water. The union is detachable, so if necessary, the threaded part can be disconnected and the connected fitting replaced.
