Pool Chemicals

Pool chemistry keeps water hygienically safe only when dosed in the right order: pH first, then disinfection, then flocculation. This category carries over 160 products from professional brands CTX and PoolLine as well as chlorine-free alternatives — from kilogram packs for family pools to 50 kg sacks for public facilities. What you'll find Chlorine disinfection — CTX 200/GR 55% chlorine granulate in 1, 5 and 50 kg packs, PoolLine 200 g chlorine tablets, and MTF 5-in-1 multifunctional tablets combining disinfection, flocculation and algicide. Chlorine-free products — OXY Pure Ag, a silver-based oxidising agent in 5 L and 20 L canisters, and APS photocatalytic chlorine stabiliser. The full range of oxygen-based disinfection is in our Chlorine-Free Water Treatment category. pH correction — pH Plus and pH Minus in liquid and granulated form (e.g. pH Plus 5 L Aseko for dosing stations). Flocculants — CTX 37 Xtreme Starfloc skimmer tablets and liquid Poly Pure 20 L for continuous pump dosing. Maintenance — cleaning tablets for filter cartridges, algae control products and winterising agents. How to dose correctly The foundation is pH 7.0–7.4. Outside this range, chlorine effectiveness drops and problems with algae and skin irritation increase. Keep free chlorine at 0.3–0.6 mg/l, and shock-chlorinate with granulate after a storm or heavy use. Test values at least once a week — testers and photometers are in our Measurement & Testing category. If you'd rather not dose by hand, a dosing station can handle the chemistry for you, or you can switch to a salt chlorination unit that produces chlorine by electrolysis from salt. What to watch out for Never mix concentrated products together, or chlorine with acid — this risks releasing toxic gases. Always dissolve granulate in water, never the other way round. Chlorine tablets don't belong directly on the pool liner — use a floater or skimmer. With stabilised chlorine, keep an eye on cyanuric acid levels; above 100 mg/l, disinfection stops working effectively and some water needs to be replaced. This category is part of our Water Treatment section. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with free shipping over the threshold.
